Notability

Not sure that the subject meets the criteria in WP:BIO. The article provides only one secondary source. The primary sources simply confirm appointments. I note, however, that this is not the only article on Canadian diplomats. Skeezix1000 15:07, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Per WP:BIO#Diplomats, it appears he is notable as he has "participated in a significant way" in the North Korean nuclear weapons program negotiations: source. Jfire (talk) 03:58, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Some of the information is of dubious quality. In 1977, Marius was an Instructor-in-Gunnery (IG) in the air defence section of the Artillery School of the Combat Training Centre, Canadian Forces Base Gagetown (he was the officer who ran my Blowpipe operator course in the spring of that year) so he cannot have been posted to Canadian Forces Europe between '77 and his release from the CF in '79. I believe he had qualified for the post by completing the Gunnery Staff (Air Defence) Course at the Royal School of Artillery, Larkhill, after his posting to CFE.Ab.chaplin (talk) 12:33, 3 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
