Untitled[edit]

At Snowshill Manor in the Cotswolds (a National Trust Property) there is a mine bottle made by Mattias Buchinger which is the earliest known example of its kind.

Does anyone else find it hilarious that this article is a "stub?" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 157.252.154.115 (talk) 15:47, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. Also sounds almost like an Uncyclopedia article. --Tyranic Moron (talk) 00:57, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I quite suspect that the entire article is in fact, a trolling effort. The general tone, the stub template and the fact that the "Lord's Prayer" link leads to the "Dung Beetle" article.

This must refer to an earlier version. He was a real person and most of the details I read sound correct. (There are a few I'd not read about beforehand so can't confirm or deny)--T. Anthony (talk) 10:15, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Date of birth[edit]

The text on the self-portrait gives the DoB as June 2, not the June 3 given in the article. Is this correct? 80.254.147.36 (talk) 16:31, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Buckinger and Buckinger's boot[edit]

The reference for Buckinger's Boot does not mention anything about his penis. And one finding does not imply that his name was "sometimes called" Matthew Buckinger in English; it implies that Matthew is the English form of his first name, and his last name was mispelt at least but possibly only once. --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 18:58, 29 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
