This article needs massive amounts of work. It should be templated, there's no date of birth or anything that indicates why this person is notable to someone who does not follow the bodybuilding/sports nurition industry. Yankees76 13:47, 18 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I was just attempting to get it started. I am reincluding the statement about the Anabolic Diet. You removed basically everything I put in the article I feel almost spitefully. However I do like a lot of your changes. The Anabolic Diet is an interesting example of of his work and he promoted it heavily when his book was released.Quadzilla99 16:46, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hardly done out of spite - it was poorly written and referenced - I added alot but it still needs work and needs to be formatted properly. It also seems you're a half decade behind the times. DiPasquale advocates the Metabolic (not Anabolic) Diet. Check his website.Yankees76 16:49, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps to mend some fences we should work on this article together? I think we got off on the wrong foot, and this seems like a good project to fix that. Yankees76 17:05, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree 100%. This feud is stupid we both want to improve the articles on weight training and fitness. I will actually admit that I don't know as much about Di Pasquale as you probably do (I never liked the idea of a high protein, low carb diet personally, so I didn't read him much) but just wanted to start an article about him as he is a pretty well known figure. Maybe somehow we can introduce the fact that (I believe) he is well known through his articles in Muscle Media and I think before that MuscleMag.Quadzilla99 17:13, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Have a look at some other biographies (Mickey Mantle for example is one that I've worked on that has been listed as a good article). See if you can find his date of birth to start and we'll go from there.Yankees76 17:26, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:
