Statistics

[edit]

I just wanted to know why it is unreasonable to put a players statistics within the actual article itself? Tubby23 (talk) 02:11, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Like I said in the edit summary - it's only a click away to a database driven site that is automatically updated each week and I think it's excessively detailed for an encyclopaedic article. It is also not that precise, as different sites often have different values. Keeping games played and goals kicked up to date is hard enough to do, you might say you'll do it each week, but then what happens when you stop? We're left with a bunch of out of date tables - for examples, see Brett_Kirk, Barry_Hall & Jarrad McVeigh. The-Pope (talk) 12:21, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ok fair enough, sorry to have bugged you. Tubby23 (talk) 02:44, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Barlow record of most possessions in a debt have been broken by North Melbourne Harry Sheezel debut in 2023, so article needs to reflect that the record is now old. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.83.103.160 (talk) 05:23, 17 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
