You've got to be kidding, who wrote this nonsense?

"...one of the rising stars of the nrl" (he's playing reserve grade, and doesn't look like breaking into Manly's first grade side)

"his down-to-earth attitude, dedication, natural talent and ability have won him many fans, as well as his boy next door good looks which have made him one of the NRL's pin-up players amongst rugby league's female supporters."

This article seriously needs a re-write from someone who isn't in love with Michael Witt 137.166.4.130 14:53, 26 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This article requires a serious edit to reduce the fannish praise for Witt. See WP:NPOV ~ Florrie talk 06:08, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure how removing legitimate tags and reverting corrections solves the outstanding issues. Once again, see WP:NPOV and also, for use of the info-box see Wikipedia:WikiProject Rugby league and for general editing/style assistance see WP:MOS and Wikipedia:Article development. I'm happy to copy-edit the Michael Witt article in a sandbox and put the proposed article up for discussion.~ Florrie talk 10:06, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The recent reverts by Special:Contributions/220.237.99.129 have removed corrections to wikilinks, deadlinks and updated infobox material as well as the {{fansite}} tag. Diffs - 1, 2. I'd appreciate any discussion that can explain why deadlinks should be retained in an article (ie, Naked Rugby League calendar website) and why wikilinks, factual information and other constructive edits are unwelcome. As well as the recommended reading listed in the previous entry, I would also refer you to Wikipedia:Ownership of articles and Wikipedia:Assume good faith. I am trying to improve the article to Wikipedia standards of neutrality, not destroy it. ~ Florrie talk 04:55, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for removing the deadlink. Could you now correct the wikilinks to halfback and five-eighth? They should be written as [[Rugby league positions#Scrum-half|halfback]] and [[Rugby league positions#Stand-off|five-eighth]] to take the reader directly to the section within the article. Thanks for your co-operation. ~ Florrie talk 09:00, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There has been no attempt made to tone down the language of this article at all over the past year. Wikipedia is not a fan-site. Florrieleave a note 04:51, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
