Unusual?

[edit]

In the follwing passage it describe Gatting being dismissed on the last ball of the days play as unusual, ther's nothing unusual about it at all, it is statistically as likely as any other ball during the day.Statto74 (talk) 07:33, 26 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"Gatting's dismissal in the second innings was also unusual, in that he was bowled off the very last ball of the fourth day's play by Merv Hughes, meaning he was unable to help England bat out the last day. Australia went on to win during the last session on that last day."

True. In fact, it is statistically the _most_ likely, because any ball of the last over might be the last of the day (or even an earlier over) might be the last of the day, if time is up and the minimum overs have all been bowled. And there was no minimum over requirement in Gatt's career, or most of it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.238.66.130 (talk) 14:31, 17 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
