Strange

His name is Albanian, how can he be Gorani??--Noah30 (talk) 21:46, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Albanisation. BalkanFever 05:04, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Gorani often have Albanian names, due to the Albanization, as stated by the user above. However, they do not share common heritage, as Gorani are Slavs, unlike Albanians. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.191.114.57 (talk) 21:05, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Gorani are slavised Albanians ... earlier they were Albanians (Albanian language, kulture, mentalitet etc)... under the Ottoman Empire, the Albanian language was forbidden, so many Albanians were slavised, turkised and greekised ... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.73.233.192 (talk) 15:08, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Move to West Ham

[edit]

Although I'm happy for this move to be discussed in the article I don't think the infobox or who he plays for should be updated until the move is certain, i.e. the work permit is granted. At the moment we can't verify that he will be a West Ham player, only that he will if a work permit is granted. If one isn't he won't play for West Ham and so I think it's currently inappropriate to update the infobox and who he plays for. Dpmuk (talk) 22:55, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

SL Benfica

[edit]

His transfer to Benfica wasn't confirmed by the Portuguese club. 85.246.185.135 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 01:28, 2 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ethnicity

[edit]

Sulejmani is of ethnic Gorani descent, that is, a Slavic Muslim ethnic group inhabiting the Gora region in southern Kosovo. He was born in Belgrade. He is not of Albanian origin. Vandals keep changing his origin.--Zoupan 03:27, 20 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
