What to do about the "Inspector's Residence" section
[edit]On a lark, I checked the source for the section of this article involving the inspector's residence, and found that it has been copied word-for-word from the GSA website. Is this grounds for taking the section down, or is it ok to leave it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thompsonshep (talk • contribs) 21:51, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
I'm thinking it's OK to leave since US govt. documents are public domain. The problem I have is that I find some of the architectural assessment to be factually untrue. The article states that it uses a style "also found at Chateaugay, Champlain, Rouses Point (Overtons Corner), and Fort Covington. While Chateaugay and Ft. Covington are correct, Overton Corners uses the Beecher Falls/East Richford template. By Champlain, they must mean Meridian Road, which closed around 1950. The port known as Champlain is on I-87, is gigantic and is unlike any other border crossing. Since this was written by experts in architecture at GSA, I am reluctant to fix it, but I think I will anyway.Wbaron (talk) 06:35, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
