Dead link?
[edit]The archive.org link for Cahokia: The Great Native American Metropolis is apparently broken - http://www.archive.org/stream/cahokiagreatnati00youn/cahokiagreatnati00youn_djvu.txt just returns an error. Checking the main index page for that book at http://archive.org/details/cahokiagreatnati00youn reports "issues with its content"; don't know what those might be, but it sounds ominous! I've removed the link for now. Andrew Gray (talk) 20:33, 3 April 2013 (UTC)
- Not sure, so I removed the link. I used my physical copy and some chapters at google book to do the writing. I kept that link when I grabbed the citation from Cahokia (that way I didn't have to write out the citation from scratch, kept the link because thought it might come in handy to someone who doesnt own book) Heiro 21:09, 3 April 2013 (UTC)
Suggested that vs Demonstrated
[edit]'The arrowheads suggested that Cahokia had extensive trade links'
'The arrowheads demonstrated Cahokia's extensive trade links'
No, they did not demonstrate that - which to me as a scientist means, conclusively proved.
Does my re-edit 'strongly indicated that' strike the balance? Narky Blert (talk) 22:03, 16 September 2014 (UTC)
