Nanjung IlgiNanjung ilgi – Article 15 of 「문화재명칭 영문표기 기준 규칙」(in Korean)(Rules for the English notation of cultural property names) says that the name of books or maps should be capitalized in sentence-style. Cultural Heritage Administration said that it's a general rule to capitalize only the first letter when spacing the Korean name transliterated and this rule is widely used such as the APA Style Guide and the Chicago Manual of Style. [1](in Korean) Nanjung ilgi, National Treasure 76, is capitalized as "Nanjung ilgi" by Cultural Heritage Administration. To add more comments, following the APA Style Guide, Chicago Manual of Style, and Cultural Heritage Administration, the 'book' <Nanjung Ilgi>, which is translated to English and published(which is being sold in bookstores), should be capitalized headline-style, but the original heritage Nanjung ilgi, which is written by Admiral Yi Sun-sin, should by capitalized sentence-style. [3](in Korean), see 5th paragraph In other words, just the fact that 'Nanjung Ilgi' gives more results from googling does not mean that the heritage 'Nanjung ilgi' should follow it. Nanjung Ilgi's results contain the published book 'Nanjung Ilgi' as well as all academic papers that cite the book. --Ratamatao 15:39, 6 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
