I need a few pictures from the bishnupur temples and also a pic of kalighat temples and if possible a pic of bangla temple style puja mandap in the durga puja pandals. Jeroje 08:42, 22 July 2007 (UTC)jeroje[reply]

I have some photos of the Dhakeshwari Temple and Durga Puja Mandap. See the article. --Ragib 08:47, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I noted the dakshineswar temple and also used it thanks, but architecturally kalighat is also important since its much more south bengal chala type of structure. Jeroje 09:00, 22 July 2007 (UTC)jeroje[reply]

I don't have much knowledge about architectural styles, but the 4 Shiva temples in Dhakeshwari Temple were pretty old (recently rebuilt to their original style as the originals were in ruins). So, this may or may not be mentioned in the article. I've also noticed many old temple ruins in many places in Bangladesh which look quite close to the Shiva temples of Dhakeshwari Mandir. --Ragib 09:04, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

thanks Ragib, I also dont have much knowledge of architecture I am doing a net research to get the article done. But it is very interesting to know that about the ruins, do you have any pictures of those that we can use in the page ? It will surely point out the importance of the article Jeroje 09:08, 22 July 2007 (UTC)jeroje[reply]

There is a 100 year old photo of the original 4 shiva temples of Dhakeshwari Temple complex. Check out the article. --Ragib 09:17, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
:) I read Dhakeshwari as Dakshineswar and were all the time thinking that I have used the photos you are talking about. Now I have checked the article looks good, especially the old one, I will put it into the article, Jeroje 09:24, 22 July 2007 (UTC)jeroje[reply]

Ragib if you have some old tomb photos then the article will look more harmonious, Jeroje 09:30, 22 July 2007 (UTC)jeroje[reply]

I do have a lot of photos from Old Dhaka. See Lalbagh Fort, Bara Katra, Choto Katra. For European inspired church photos, see Armenian_community_of_Dhaka. (For the whole set of photos from my photo shoot, see this. I'd upload some to commons soon. --Ragib 10:03, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
