As the creator of this page, and a librarian for Goodreads, I used the text I wrote for this Wikipedia page as the author bio on Goodreads. I also uploaded the same photo, provided by Nellie Snyder Yost's granddaughter, for both sites. The photo was used in a number of newspaper articles she wrote and on several dust jackets of her book. Use of the photo on Wikipedia and Goodreads is in keeping with the original purpose of the photo. Photographer unknown.
