Map recency

The map shows a 2013 version that is outdated (doesn't show 2nd ave extension and Grand Central LIRR terminal for example). I imagine a lot of visitors who google "NYC subway map" will land here. Is it possible to update the map? Sorry I'm not a wikipedia contributor and want to make sure this follows the right procedures.

"current subway map"

The image at the top called the "current subway map" is not an official one, but user-generated. If the article is called "New York City Subway map" and not, say, "New York City Subway routes", shouldn't the focus be on official maps and not user-generated ones, no matter how accurate the user-generated map should be?
