A couple of questions about some possible errors?

[edit]

Did he plan and command the assault on Denmark? As best as I can remember he was strictly concerned with Norway. And Arctic Fox - that wasn't concerned with occupying Sweden was it? Wasn't it directed toward the east to Murmansk? __209.179.16.230 (talk) 03:35, 7 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Both the German wiki (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unternehmen_Silberfuchs) and the English wiki (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Silver_Fox) indeed claim that operation Arctic Fox was part of operation Silver Fox. Citation for the planned invasion of Sweden is really needed. thestor (talk) 00:20, 27 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Bogus tale deleted

[edit]

The following "apocryphal" material has been deleted as irrelevant. WP is not here to perpetuate myths, no matter how widely they may have been believed.

An apocryphal story, which was much believed by both sides, told of a Norwegian woman who complained that a German soldier had stolen some of her jam. The next morning, she was invited to come to the local army post to see the man shot by a firing squad.
