Graphic labeled - 'Airco DH.9a at RAAF Point Cook, c. 1926'

[edit]

The aircraft pictured appears to be an SE-5a.

  • It would appear that the aircraft in question in the article is identified incorrectly. I assume this is from the AWM description being incorrect. The aircraft appears to be a SE-5a. Ian if your patrolling can you confirm and update. Regards Newm30 (talk) 05:00, 12 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
    • Gah, yes -- the noses are similar but the second set of struts on a DH.9 give it away! Will email AWM about it but in the meantime have uploaded another shot. Tks guys! Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 05:36, 12 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Citation style

[edit]

I suggest we change to {{sfn}} style for referencing as it links between short footnotes and citations for a better user experience. 04:17, 30 April 2016 (UTC)

One day we will probably adopt a standard style for references (personally I really hope it is NOT {{sfn}}) but of course which of the various styles currently used for different articles we end up making out "standard" will not be up to either you or me! In the meantime, changing citation styles on individual articles (except perhaps to make them consistent within that article) is a patent waste of time and energy and must be strongly deprecated. --Soundofmusicals (talk) 04:35, 30 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
