Final branded PPV

[edit]

The final branded PPV would be New Year's Revolution, as this one featured superstars from Raw (Jeff Hardy, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Candice, Maria, Johnny Nitro, Shelton Benjamin) and ECW (Bobby Lashley, Rob Van Dam, Kelly Kelly, Layla, Brooke). If it was, like only 2 or 3, than it could be an exception but 12 is kinda exaggerating. Lex T/C Guest Book 01:51, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, but WWE promoted it under the SmackDown brand.--TrUcO9311 (talk) 17:59, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Benoit and MVP...

[edit]

Were NOT yet feuding over the US Title. They were thrown into the six-man tag randomly, before any hint of a feud between the two developed. Gavyn Sykes (talk) 06:16, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well according to the sources I read they were feuding.--TrUCo-X 15:15, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Truco, are you sure? I just check the results for the 3 SD's before the PPV, and it doesn't seem like they even had a altercation. TJ Spyke 15:55, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The sources after the statement that Benoit and MVP were feuding lead to WWE.com articles that were uploaded POST-NWO. Gavyn Sykes (talk) 17:42, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh then never mind. I will change it.--TrUCo-X 21:02, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pre-GA review

[edit]

I don't have too many suggestions here, as I fixed a few things during the Peer Review. My remaining concerns are:

  1. Many of the online references are still lacking access dates.
 Done--TrUCo-X 21:02, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  1. It would be nice to see the lead expanded a little. The first paragraph is very short. Moving the final sentence of the second paragraph to the end of the first paragraph might help.
 Done--TrUCo-X 21:06, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  1. References need to be in the proper order. For example, instead of [21][3][25], it should be [3][21][25].
     DoneNiciVampireHeart18:41, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  2. The third paragraph in the "Event" section seems a little long, as it described three matches while the other paragraphs only describe one. Splitting one of the matches off into its own paragraph would help.
     DoneNiciVampireHeart18:42, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That's all that I can see for now. If you can look at these things, the article (along with SummerSlam (2007) should be ready to nominate tomorrow, as I believe you initially mentioned your intention to nominate them last Saturday. GaryColemanFan (talk) 15:50, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, In the "Results" section, the match notes should be sourced as well as the result of the match. iMatthew 2008 22:44, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

 DoneTrUCo-X 22:54, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
What about the Jillian note? iMatthew 2008 22:55, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
 Done, but you could have done that.TrUCo-X 23:02, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GA on Hold

[edit]

There is only one real problem for this article.

  • The pubishers in the references should be wikilinked:

For example:

  • "WWE Pay-Per-Views To Follow WrestleMania Formula". WWE Corporate. 2007-03-18. Retrieved 2007-11-25.

Should be:

(It will be up to you to find a proper link)  Done Only three of the references had appropriate articles to link to, so this is now complete. GaryColemanFan (talk) 19:12, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Also, with the table "Other On-Screen Talent", just put a citation after the heading, no need for every person on that list
 Done GaryColemanFan (talk) 05:33, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • And with the Results section, you may want to convert to prose rather than bullet points. But this isn't necessary as most of the information is in the "Report" section.
I have to disagree with that considering the MoS of our PPV articles has the results listed with bullets. iMatthew 2008 12:23, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with iMatthew, especially since we already have several GA's and a FA using the current format. TJ Spyke 14:30, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I haven't looked at other articles like this, but if it is fine.  The Windler talk  20:47, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • The categories should be in alphabetical order (Numbers 0-9, then letters A-Z)
 DoneNiciVampireHeart05:32, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Otherwise, it meets prose, reliablity, neutral, good use of images. There seems to be alot of editing recently but this dosen't seem to be bad.

I will be quickest to contact, if you contact me on my talk page.  The Windler talk  04:20, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GA pass

[edit]

Thanks for being quick with the problems. I have passed it as GA.
