someone needss to clean up the plot
[edit]It is a jumbled mess of gibberish toward the end of the plot section.
Removal of "Historical Background"
[edit]I much appreciate the efforts of those who had created the "Historical Background" section of this article; however, digging into it a bit, it seems it was an unfortunate poster child for why Wikipedia requires sources. Looking back through the article's history, the "facts" in this section had done nothing but wander about aimlessly enjoying many adventures along the way. The current state of the article at any point in time simply represented the assertions of whatever editor had touched it last. The article had been tagged as needing sources since 2008 without any actually being added, and I think 5 years is enough leniency. I would be happy to pitch in and help recreate the section based on actual facts, if someone will point me to a source of same. I did not have any luck with a Google search... maybe someone knows of a Laura Ingalls Wilder biography that could be referenced? --Rnickel (talk) 14:21, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
Mildred Boyle
[edit]Mildred Boyle joined Helen Sewell as illustrator of the Little House books beginning with Plum Creek, fourth in the series.
Mildred Boyle at Library of Congress Authorities — with 4 catalog records
Those four records include only two of the five Little House books illus. by Sewell & Boyle. The library does have other records of Boyle works (no idea how many) but illustrators are not always named --especially second illustrators, i presume-- and some that do name her may be incompletely digitized for search.
