Notability
[edit]Why is this book notable? No other articles link here, no context is given for the book's importance and both of its authors lack pages. What exactly makes this book notable? - Schrandit (talk) 07:52, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
- Good point! I recommend that you go out and make pages for both authors. Get to it. Spotfixer (talk) 22:19, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
- I'd rather not. In the mean time, the article remains of a questionable notability. - Schrandit (talk) 00:07, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
- It's a published book. That's sufficiently notable. Spotfixer (talk) 00:22, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:Notability No, it is not. Do you even know Wikipedia policy or are you just making it up as you go along? - Schrandit (talk) 00:46, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Notability (books) is the specific page that covers book. Being "published" is NOT enough to be notable, in terms of wikipedia's inclusion policies and guidelines.-Andrew c [talk] 16:28, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
- Please note that it was at the center of a censorship controversy in Canada, which suffices for notability. This is now referenced in the article. Spotfixer (talk) 00:22, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
Newly Proposed Editing Alterations
[edit]I plan to add many new sections to this article, as it is lacking vital information and several important subtopics. The changes are not incredibly detail oriented, however they will provide more depth to the currently barren article. Sections like the infobox, summary, and the background are a few that I aim to establish. If questions or concerns arise regarding my new content, please refer to my Sandbox, where you will find an annotated bibliography as well as a draft of the changes. Thanks!
