I'm of the opinion that "military operation" should be changed to "police operation". It was not about striking targets but about eliciting the undergound presence of the militant groups, as well as arresting suspects and many of the Jewish Agency leaders. King David Hotel

Do we have evidence that the hotel bombing motive was retaliation? The bombing page itself only says it was to destroy the papers- a practical, military objective, I suggest. I don't want to barge in to a sensitive page, but this is important in terms of the perception of terrorism and surely needs a reference. IceDragon64 (talk) 15:07, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
