Actual Death
[edit]A contributor to alt.obituaries at Google Groups named Kent has stated on that page that someone claiming to be Corley's nephew sent him an e-mail telling him that Corley had died today after a long illness. Not sure if this is true or not, but someone may want to follow up on it or keep an eye out for further news. Here's the link to that message: [1] --From Andoria with Love 02:54, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
Pat Corley did die on Monday, September 11, 2006 at a Los Angeles hospital. He was 76 and is my father. -- Troy Corley
Jerry Corley, Pat's son, is a friend of mine. We're both stand up comedians, and are involved in a couple of projects together. It is true that Pat passed away. Jerry loved his father very much, and spent a lot of time with him as he was ailing. - Jimmy Turner www.laughatjimmy.com
- I am truly sorry to hear this. My condolences to you and Jerry Corley and his family. Mr. Corley now has a place on my tribute page located here and he will be added to the memoriam section on my user page momentarily. Again, I'm very sorry for your loss. --From Andoria with Love 02:53, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
