A phrase in the lead paragraph
[edit]The lead paragraph says that Laxalt was often referred to in the media as "son of a Basque sheepherder." I concede that his father might have been a shepherd in Spain, but does that mean he was referred to by that title? It sounds like a prank addition to the piece just to see if anyone notices. Is there evidence to back up that reference, and if so, where is it?Asburyparker (talk) 21:01, 5 June 2017 (UTC)
- I've deleted it. If the press really said this "often", I'm sure someone will find a source for it. But even if that happens, it doesn't belong in the lede! — Lawrence King (talk) 00:08, 8 July 2017 (UTC)
