Is she contesting the Legislative Assembly in 2019

[edit]

She is now the alternative Deputy Premier of NSW but she is a member of the Legislative Council.

So is she contesting a Legislative Assembly seat in the 2019 election since by convention the Deputy Premier is someone who has a seat in the Legislative Assembly. 122.106.83.10 (talk) 09:17, 10 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This was asked in the press conference. She said they would choose an acting leader in the Legislative Assembly for Question Time and other necessities, and that it would be sorted out by the time parliament returns in May. See here at 13:20: https://twitter.com/MomentsAU/status/1110064896316571648
Was a bit vague. We don't really know if she's going to be contesting a seat in the LA. It may not be worth the effort for an interim leader who will not serve long.

It is Lower House and Upper House not LA and LC. 218.214.52.68 (talk) 06:28, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
