Bad Line

[edit]

In the section "Appearances in other media" there is a sentence that makes no sense: "She also seems to be so worried about him almost a lot." I don't know the characters, so I'm not sure how to edit it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.162.148.116 (talk) 02:50, 4 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Uncertain referent for "him"

[edit]

"Virginia "Pepper" Potts can be seen in the Ultimate Universe during Ultimates 2. She and Happy Hogan can be seen monitoring Tony when he uses the armor. She seems to be in a relationship with him."

Who is "him"?

I'm guessing that it's Happy Hogan b/c so far in the series Tony's been involved with several other women. I'm going to change it to Happy Hogan. If I'm wrong then someone needs to clarify that. Tokyogirl79 (talk) 06:25, 1 February 2009 (UTC)Tokyogirl79[reply]

Changed picture

[edit]

I thought it made more sense to have a current/ recent pic of Potts instead of the previous silver age one, so I dl and posted a scan from 'The Order' (2007) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Blindambition2387 (talkcontribs) 09:24, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I love the picture & I think that it's very important to have a current picture of her up so that people can compare the artwork between the ages. I added a bit to the picture's free use rationale so that wiki doesn't try to take it down. :( They've taken down more than one of my previous uploads due to incomplete info, so you've got to make sure to put up as much info as you can. Hogan

[edit]

IIRC, At the time of Hogan's death, Tony was capable of turning off the life support from very far away. Lots42 (talk) 10:24, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pepper Potts, Year One

[edit]

A WHOLE lot of Pepper info is in book one of the two issue limited series 'IRON MAN: THE IRON AGE'. Lots42 (talk) 11:53, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Complaint

[edit]

Do we really need such a hideously offensive and sexist pinip page image? Lots42 (talk) 11:55, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Clarification: Doesn't seems to be any point to the image, even apart from -my- opinion of the content. Lots42 (talk) 08:23, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lord's Prayer Line

[edit]

-There was a line in the paragraph relating to Happy's death that indicated the open nature of Hogan's death didn't factor in Stark saying the "Lord's Prayer" which doesn't fit the paragraph per se, it draws no conclusion nor offers a logical argument why it would be relevant in the situation, thus I removed it as the page is fine without it.

Audio

[edit]

Potts is mention over the P.A. system in the Stark Tower in 'Ultimate Alliance' the video game. Not sure if it is noteworthy. Lots42 (talk) 01:32, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rescue image

[edit]

I believe we need a different image, one that shows the armor clearly and is less cluttered and stylized. Also, the FCB is wayyyy too long and overdetailed. --Tenebrae (talk) 01:13, 2 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Should The MCU Version Of The Character Receive Her Own Article?

[edit]

I think that Pepper's MCU counterpart should have her own separate page. She's been featured in more then enough films to pass the given requirements for MCU Characters, and I believe that her importance and development inside Tony's story warrant her own section, and I think she stacks up with other characters that do currently have their own articles, such as Jane Foster. GlumboMcShunbo (talk) 02:14, 10 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with everything you've said here. The MCU version should receive her own article, especially since it fulfills all the requirements. Dman6233 (talk) 01:31, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The infobox image

[edit]

Can we change her picture? It is a png, and shows off her design in recent years, but its LOW quality. could we find one that like it thats in HD or something? Babysharkboss2 (talk) 13:03, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Babysharkboss2 Having a high-quality image would go beyond fair-use and violate Marvel's copyright because it would be suitable for commercial reproduction. Bremps... 22:53, 6 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I know that, and I get it, but I you compare the quality from the pages such as Iron Man, or cover's like Montero, hell, even MOVIE posters like Call Me By Your Name, Those THREE examples are low rez, but still seeable. Peppers infobox is just a png of messy pixels. Babysharkboss2 was here!! 13:52, 7 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you mean that, then sure. We could get a better low-res pic. Bremps... 14:16, 7 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
