line

[edit]

"He said the decision was based on the fact he is a coward and the key criteria of having representation in Parliament and recognition as an official party by Parliament, neither of which the Green Party had.[1] Kent was not a member of any political party at this time."

This line seems to have a serious bias. Can someone fix this article?

Musician

[edit]

There seems to be a musician of the 80s with the same name. Perhaps one can investigate. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izGnsflibLo -- 77.177.153.159 (talk) 18:26, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

NYT resource

found on Talk:Environmental risks of the Keystone XL pipeline ... In Internal Canadian Documents, a Warning on Oil Sands by Ian Austen December 22, 2011, 4:27 PM; excerpts ...

Peter Kent, the environment minister, and Prime Minister Stephen Harper have said that oil sands projects are being unfairly attacked by environmental groups that are exaggerating their effects. ... Last week Mr. Kent announced that Canada was withdrawing from the Kyoto Protocol, the 1997 treaty to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. At the time, he dismissed the contribution of oil sands to global climate change.

[edit]

I can't believe there is no page about singer Peter Kent!! Don't you know that guy who sang "It's a real good feeling" ?? That is the best song ever. — Preceding unsigned comment added by User771 (talkcontribs) 17:54, 19 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Haha, I already mentioned it above but no one cares! I only noticed the singer but you seem to be a true fan, so what about creating the page yourself? :) -- 77.8.54.10 (talk) 06:55, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Marijuana is as bad as Fentanyl comments 2017

[edit]

There is video where he says “Kids today will learn from one another. When it’s legal, despite the ...allowable age to consume, kids are going to harvest leaves, kids are going to experiment,” said Kent speaking in the House of Commons Tuesday. “I think what we’re doing, it’s the same, virtually the same as putting fentanyl on a shelf within reach of kids. Having plants in the home, it’s just as wacky, it’s just as unacceptable, it’s just as dangerous for Canadian society."[1]Jeffery Thomas 21:54, 25 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
