A fact from Piedmont Hotel appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 23 October 2022 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:

"New York" or Northern-style hotel?
[edit]A cursory online search did not produce any explanation of what might be meant by a "New York" or Northern-style hotel.
Is this an architectural term? Does it refer to the arrangement of rooms or toilet and bathing facilities? Restaurant? Perhaps its a bit of puffery used to promote the hotel? I am clueless. I think the phrase should either be explained or deleted. Right now it just takes up space.

- Newly expanded 5x, long enough, interesting enough, neutrally written, no copyvio per Earwig, cited in-line from reliable and verifiable source. Image is in the public domain and is relevant, in the article, and reasonable clear at 100px. QPQ done. Nice work! This one is ready to go. Topshelver (talk) 20:26, 19 September 2022 (UTC)
