Source wars

[edit]

Raven sir ! IMDB site is used as External link of each film and tv actors and films so if i used it so its not a bad deal. And my brother, Bbfc is too not reliable! Please stop this revert edit & source war by God !! LordMall (talk) 17:03, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

BollywoodHungama too says Hindi to Slumdog Millionaire though thats an English film with Hindi. So this is pure partiality

LordMall (talk) 17:07, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

IMDB is used only as external link. It is NOT considered a reliable source for facts in the article. I ask you to stop using unreliable sources, stop using parameters in ways they are not supposed to be used, start respecting decisions that have been previously been made, start listening to the comments made by others and start using the talk page instead of the edit war technique you've been using. Go to the reliable source noticeboard and search previous discussions for IMDB. You'll find out there is ONE area that IMDB is considered reliable - screenwriting credits. That's it. As for BBFC - sorry, it's considered reliable. Just to back that up, how about the Bollywoodhungama page on Ra.One? Huh, it says Hindi only as well. And that's also considered a RS. And both are mentioned in the other discussion topics right above this one (and where you easily could have just used that existing topic). I'll give you some credit for using the talk page though. Thanks for that. Ravensfire (talk) 17:16, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Welcome Raven. But i have to make a point. Thats not my intention for edit war. Neither all users are opposing except you and Kailash! I'm using the talk page coz i have to make my point. Source added to the info not vandalising!!!
LordMall (talk) 17:35, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Malqrrishh, if you really see yourself as a good editor, then stop adding IMDb as a source. Add anything else reliable, like The Hindu or Times of India. Kailash29792 (talk) 17:46, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Malqrrish, have you read the docs on the {{Infobox film}} template on the use of that parameter? Do you consider English to be primary language of Ra.One? I would note that your "reliable" source says "A few lines" for English (oddly, that's the same for other languages listed that you don't bother to include). Please, tell me what the docs for the infobox template say to put in the language parameter. Ravensfire (talk) 00:01, 13 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
