- Support per WP:COMMONNAME. The nominator's rationale is based on the WP:OFFICIAL name, which conflicts with policy. However a Google Books search shows unequivocally that "Branch" is the common usage: 69 hits for "branch", but only 1 hit for "unit". --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 16:33, 4 March 2014 (UTC)
- Not really. Move request is based on my own perception, and supported by a reference; Google search results have been repeatedly shown to be less than reliable. However, in view of the comment of Thryduulf below, I withdraw the request and endorse the suggestion to redirect this to the Irish unit. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 21:19, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

- Rail Accident Investigation Branch already exists as an established article about the British investigation authority. I would recommend though that this page is redirect to the Irish equivalent body, the Railway Accident Investigation Unit. Thryduulf (talk) 18:55, 4 March 2014 (UTC)
