Merge discussion, Nov 2024

@Mason7512 I oppose a merge, because the term has multiple meanings. The term literally means "beginning of the year", and used to refer to various distinct traditions. One of them is The Old New Year, celebrated by Alawites and Middle Eastern Christians. We can consider converting this to a disambiguation page. Thank you for the information! This is why I only proposed the merge (as I am completely ignorant on the subject and could only judge based off what was in this article, which is limited).
