Strident Catholic Advocacy Unacceptable in an Encyclopedia
[edit]The purpose of heresy act was not on account of authority to deal with heresy, but rather, a symptom of Queen Mary I's taking the Throne, and her desire for revenge, and her wish to restore the primacy of the Roman Catholic religion and to impose it on a largely unwilling population.John Paul Parks (talk) 12:37, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
- These Acts were revived as a historical fact, and then repealed as a historical fact, and there is nothing controversial about these facts, that happened centuries ago, so I am removing the flag.78.16.43.39 (talk) 10:16, 3 May 2019 (UTC)
