Photo
[edit]Is there a higher resolution or more flattering photograph available? One can hardly make him out in the current one. --75.41.7.195 (talk) 02:19, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
Wikipedia: Who is deciding your photo policy? Here's a guy who's famous for films he starred in in the 1970s and you've got only photos showing him in 2013 and 2008. (There's a third pic from the 80s but it's so unclear it doesn't count.) Is it so hard to find a publicity still from American Graffiti or The Goodbye Girl?
Hint: for photos of celebs, the heyday, not the current day. For really famous people how about a range of photos from different moments in their career? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.0.230.68 (talk) 08:36, 22 February 2014 (UTC)
"He was born Jewish"
[edit]In the lead there is a short sentence, "He was born Jewish." Does this seem an awkward phrasing? Either his parents were Jewish, or he is Jewish, but "He was born Jewish" implies he changed to something else. like an acorn changes into an oak tree. If he is still Jewish, it can say so. If not, it can say his parents were Jewish. It doesn't seem important enough to change right now; any thoughts from anyone or is the current phrase just fine the way it is? Excuse Me
[edit]Wasn’t there a section on Dreyfuss’s page that showed the people he didn’t get along with and the conflicts he had? Like in “What About Bob?” & “Jaws”? Austin012599 (talk) 20:12, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
- Good on Bill Murray for harassing him. 172.58.219.26 (talk) 12:35, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
Oxford U.
[edit]The article says he was a research adviser there, so presumably faculty...ish. However, it's listed under 'Education'. Is he an OU grad? 86.179.205.163 (talk) 18:42, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
Maybe this should be added?
[edit]Curious what you all think?

- Mooted. As hilarious as it is pathetic, as per so much these days. Marcus Markup (talk) 11:28, 30 May 2024 (UTC)
- Not sure what you mean?

- I find these comments to be antisemitic 2600:6C5E:1B7F:DFFE:7766:4A77:EFE7:F42D (talk) 22:10, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
- The question is moot. The material has been added to the article. My exasperation at things followed. My bad. Marcus Markup (talk) 22:15, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
- I assume we're on the same page here. As much as I've added to wiki for decades now, I'm still a newbie in so many ways. As an example: I have no idea how to access these: 2600:6C5E:1B7F:DFFE:7766:4A77:EFE7:F42D As for "Moot," I assume you mean Dreyfuss's bigoted behavior... or my asking if they should be added(?).
