2 sections added, accusations and damages or fallout caused to Rio Tinto. The fallout section could be expanded to include fallout to Rio Tinto, to China, to the Chinese government, to Australia, to the Australian government and to the trade/political relationships of the 2 nations. I haven't yet gotten around adding counter views on the accusation section. I am quite busy with several things so I will try to edit as much as I can when I have free time. Also, I would really appreciate it if someone else could get to that before me. Thanks. PS: I am in a grey area. I have added some stock market data as part of the article. Is that even allowed? The last time anyone seriously updated this article was about a month ago. However, recently there have been many important events going about, yet nothing is being written about in this article. Added the update and out of date tags as a result. Capital Markets (talk) 12:42, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
According to Xinhua, the 4 are not being charged with espionage. They are indicted for bribery and "stealing trade secrets." [1] With that in mind, shouldn't the references to espionage in the title and article be replaced with the more accurate description of bribery and trade secret theft charges? If the PRC isn't going to charge them with espionage, then Wikipedia certainly shouldn't. Abe Froman (talk)
