Obituary

[edit]

Watching Ventura County Star obituaries for possible source of more information on Dr. Roger Leir. Nothing so far. — QuicksilverT @ 03:13, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Practice

[edit]

Dr. Roger K. Leir, D.P.M., operated a practice in Thousand Oaks, California:

Foot Care Center
268 Lombard St
Thousand Oaks, CA 91360
Telephone: (805) 495-2613

The business apparently did not have its own Web site. He may have lived in Thousand Oaks at the time of his death. As of the announcements of his death on 15-16 March, 2014, there is no specific information on the exact cause, date or location of death. — QuicksilverT @ 06:05, 17 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please review our WP:FRINGE and WP:RS policy. Wikipedia is a mainstream encyclopedia. The bulk of your edits pushed fringe views, and were cited to what Wikipedia considers unreliable sources such as "exonews" and Youtube. - LuckyLouie (talk) 23:38, 13 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Content and references were added to demonstrate Dr. Leir notability

[edit]

Dear LuckyLouie.

I must reject to your that you reverted the update of Dr. Leir article. Without the chance to edit, approve, accept or verify nothing! I am an academic research and writer or papers and articles for aerospace, mechanical and biomedical engineering for more than 20 years. Maybe, I do not have a lot of experience as you as Wikipedia contributor but I seriously believe that my knowledge, and credentials could be important to show a clear and impartial writing about this subject.

Write about aliens should be consider as something ridiculous that is part of current popular culture, but believed or not, this phenomenon always has an intensive research by government programs as Majestic 12, Paper clip and Blue book to mention only ones. Anyway, my intention is to add reliable references and content in an accurate and impartial way exposing the facts considering MUFON seminars and conferences, and the most credible materials about the UFO showed in Citizen Hearing on Disclosure.

Its known that Citizen Hearing on Disclosure could be accepted to certified or discredit even more this kind of events, the fact something is happening with this phenomenon maybe a reality or a myth that is taking part today’s culture that has the merit to be publish in Wikipedia as many other articles already published in Wikipedia as this one Alien_implants

Dr. lier, I never directly assert that such objects were of extraterrestrial origin. He only establishes it as a possibility in the face of the evidence obtained both from his materials whose combinations are not yet known in the current technology, in addition to the phenomena produced in the human body, since rejection is a scientific fact that occurs before the intrusion of any foreign objects.

Regards

Have you read my answer to your previous "Dear Partners" post, below above? - LuckyLouie (talk) 20:38, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

While there is plenty of sensational coverage of Leir in radio, TV and newspapers, they merely repeat his claims uncritically. Unfortunately there are very few WP:FRIND independent sources that discuss Leir's claims. I have updated the article with the best available sources, integrated criticism, consolidated sections, and avoided WP:UNDUE weight on various minor claims and non-notable media activities. - LuckyLouie (talk) 18:13, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
