Featured article review needed

[edit]

This very old FA no longer meets FA standards. It has some uncited text, relies heavily on primary sources, and has a serious MOS:SANDWICHed mess of images. Unless someone is able to bring the article to current standards, it should be submitted to Featured article review. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 04:07, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

There are also some broken references such as "Brazier (2001), 42" Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 11:59, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Harv cite warnings

[edit]

Ok folks, this article is RIFE with Harvard cite warnings...actually none of the refs in "secondary sources" work the way they are supposed to, there are 47 - 47 - Harvard warnings. If possible, I will work on pulling apart every single stinkin' ref to try to get each ref to actually work and yeah, this will be a long-term project. In case you're not seeing the issue, I have the following script installed - "User:Ucucha/HarvErrors.js". Cheers, Shearonink (talk) 13:20, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, after further review I have decided to not even try to fix these issues, I would have to pull apart each individual reference and verify the stated information. Not being familiar with the material all this is beyond my scope at this time. Am hopeful that some of the regulars around here can maybe take this on. Details regarding the expansion of the Rashidun Caliphate in the lead

[edit]

The article is about the Roman-Persian wars. Not a single Roman-Persian war is wikilinked or referred to in the lead, yet all the individual Rashidun invasions are. --Z 11:28, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
