Post 2007[edit]

I have re-added the post 2007 section.

And I deleted it. It's nothing but your uncited, worthless opinion, so stop adding it. Crotchety Old Man (talk) 16:29, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Illinois Recruiting[edit]

I edited the section about recruiting as HC of Illinois and removed several inaccurate rankings (ex. Benn dropped to the #5 WR in the country after the latest batch of rankings by Rivals). I also sourced some players profiles and linked Rivals class rankings. Epsoul 21:23, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Reinvigorated Illini fanbase[edit]

In the University of Illinois section, the last sentence states: "Zook's enthusiasm on and off the field has spread to the long dormant Illinois football fanbase, evidenced by four sellouts in the 2007 season. Zook's Illini team runs a "Veer Option" offense. Additionally, on extra points, they employ a "swinging gate" play, in order to try to confuse the defense." I think we should add what plays he runs when it is 3rd and 7 playing at home in the fourth quarter and the skies are partly cloudy, too. /sarcasm —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 04:11, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

Not sure what you're trying to say, by your incredibly oblique and indirect statement... Rock8591 (talk) 11:22, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
He's trying to say that the guy can't coach his way out of a wet paper bag. He's right. (talk) 23:40, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

Someone with access to back issues of the Knoxville News-Sentinel needs to add info about the faxes he solicited from Tennessee re:the game plan while he was an assistant at Florida. (talk) 23:38, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

What a load of it that Zook is high-importance to college football as a whole, but low-importance to the University of Florida, where he served as head coach. Realistically, the opposite is true. (talk) 23:42, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
