A list of churches and convents?[edit]

Pls. also mention to which Patriarchate they belong/used to belong. Thanks!
A sketch:

  • Mary Magdalene
  • Ascension
  • Al. Nevsky
  • Holy Trinity & chapel at Russian Duhovnia
  • En Karem: All Russian Saints, Virgin Mary of Kazan,...? ArmindenArminden (talk) 23:00, 27 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Official English name?[edit]

Not sure "Orthodox" really is part of the official English name, rather than just explanatory/descriptive. Arminden (talk) 14:55, 15 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Al. Nevski and the competing Societies[edit]

Needs clarification, very twisted. Since the Revolution: 2 Imperial Societies, on top of the Moscow Patriarchate and ROCOR. Each of them with a different degree of autonomy from the Kremlin, from 0 to 100%. Here an article, possibly, maybe, hopefully by someone who speaks Russian, so less distortion through repeated mistranslation than the more often quoted Jerusalem Post article: article from Maariv, translated to English.
