Potato farming
[edit]Some accounts maintain that she was scuttled by Hersing, who took up potato farming after the war.
- True enough — see Lowell Thomas's Raiders of the Deep (1928) — but a non sequitur that strikes me as slightly amusing in context. Sca (talk) 15:49, 3 July 2014 (UTC)
ENGVAR
[edit]Per this old revision, the article was written in British English. Under MOS:RETAIN, unless there was a proper reason to change, it still should be. Any thoughts? --John (talk) 18:17, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
- Almost 24 hours have passed and nobody has commented. Does anybody object if we restore BrEng as per RETAIN? --John (talk) 17:21, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
- I went ahead and did that. --John (talk) 21:21, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
Redlinks
[edit]I think there are too many. Some of these vessels of around 1000 tonnes GRT are never going to be notable enough for an article. --John (talk) 21:21, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
- They probably ought to be redirects to the relevant shipwreck lists. I can do that later if you like, but I'll be busy for the next couple of hours. Parsecboy (talk) 22:00, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
- Makes sense. No hurry. --John (talk) 22:07, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
- They should all be done now. Parsecboy (talk) 01:32, 1 February 2018 (UTC)
- Makes sense. No hurry. --John (talk) 22:07, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
