Talk:SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALs: Combined Assault
update
[edit]I updated the page by re-writing some of the sections. Some things still need added to the article though to improve its quality. These two weapons need added into the article: The R44M, it is a revolver chambered in the .44 magnum caliber, the R44M is unlocked by earining 27 badges. The MM-1, it is a gernade launcher,(thats about all i know about it, sorry) you must earn 31 badges to unlock the MM-1, or purchase it on fireteam bravo 2 for the psp. Also, map pack 2 came out recently, those maps should be added into the table on this article.168.102.16.177 13:17, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
advertisements
[edit]Whoever keeps advertising their glitching website in the glitching section - stop reposting it. I have removed it several times.
>>Also, don't post opinions advertising your clan or site, saying you're the best. Opinions about your clan, tournaments, or weapons, are opinions, for discussion boards, not informative articles.
SOCOM 3.5
[edit]My friend Pierre from work said that this game is like SOCOM 3.5. It might be worth mentioning in the article. If so, there's the citation. Stovetopcookies 02:41, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- >.< For one, there isn't a section that that would appropriately fit, and 2, that's one person's opinion Mr toasty 03:25, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
Whenever he said that, he meant that socom:combined assault is more of a expansion pack for socom 3, than a sequel.--71.127.114.211 (talk) 19:54, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
List and Description of new Maps and/or Modes
[edit]I was wondering if anyone could insert a list of the new maps, weapons and (?) modes, Also I would like to remind everyone that it does not matter if you think Zipper should have made the game more like SOCOM 1 or II as that is POV --206.248.158.59 21:07, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
there arent any new weapons (but there is body armor and exrta clips in the single player mode) i cant remember the new maps off hand ill have to look them upp
- Yes, there were a few new weapons (off the top of my head the MG36 automatic rifle derivative of the G36 rifle, the MM-1 multi-shot grenade launcher, Masterkey underbarrel shotguns for some assault rifles, a revolver termed the "R44M", the M3 MAAWS, and some kind of non-lethal launcher). Name
[edit]The title of this wiki page should be SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Combined Assault. The colon should be located after SOCOM, not SEALs
Accidental ESRB rating mistake
[edit]I remember not long after this game came out, I saw multiple copies in Superstore that were mismarked with "Early Childhood" ESRB ratings. Now, since this is only an anecdote, it probably shouldn't be added right now, but if we can find out how many copies of this game it happened to and a reliable source, I think it might be worth adding. ~W35M4N —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.48.44.98 (talk) 00:26, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
