SaṃjñāSamjna (Buddhism) – The word Samjna is not only used for this concept, for example it is an very important epithet of Saranyu, a Hindu goddess (For sources, see that article). Another point is the removal of sanskritised letters (as per WP:COMMON NAME) .💠245CMR💠.👥📜 15:54, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@In ictu oculi: The direct meaning of Samjna from Sanskrit is "noun", "sign" or "name". This Samjna is not the only primary terms, so it is necessary to move it. Btw, the most popular use of Samjna is the grammatical use of Sanskrit-Hindi (samjna), and also Saranyu has far more veiws. .💠245CMR💠.👥📜 03:02, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Andrewa All topics are equally important and non of them is a Primary topic. Eg, the word orange means the colour and the fruit, so leads to a disambiguation page. .💠245CMR💠.👥📜 15:06, 9 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with this approach but it is not current policy. Even I would not go as far as to say All topics are equally important but I certainly agree we would do far better to say none of them is a Primary topic, see User:Andrewa/Primary Topic RfC.
But while I am continuing to develop this proposal and hope it will eventually become policy, I do not see it happening any time soon. It probably needs generational change. Andrewa (talk) 19:59, 9 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
