There is actually lots to write about this: when did the first sandwich shops open? Relationship between sandwich selling and coffee bars? Famous brands of sandwich shops: Pret a Manger, Benjys, O'Briens Irish Sandwich Bars, Greggs for example. Why does the U.S. not have a tradition of small non-chain owner-operated sandwich bars like the UK? What about Subway (restaurant)?
