[edit]sopport yes the handicap article is trivial and has no notability on its own. certainly not enough substance to justify a sep article. Cdcdoc 04:16, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Internment Camp
[edit]A one sentence mention. That's a hell of a gloss over if I must say so. If I knew more about it, I'd certainly edit it, but it's certainly worthy of its own subsection in the article. I just thought I'd bring it to the attention of an editor more knowledgeable of the topic. Thanks.President David Palmer 09:13, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Copyright violation?
[edit]The "Endangered" section is an almost identical to this website's entry on the same topic. Per WP:COPYRIGHT, this should be looked into ASAP and corrected as necessary. Lhb1239 (talk) 07:02, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
- It is not identical, has been partially rewritten, sorry, I got interrupted by a family emergency, Will rewrite now. — DocOfSoc • Talk • 18:24, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
- If you note, I said "almost identical". Glad the rewrite has been done. Might be a good idea to get a person familiar with copyright issues to peruse it and make sure it is different enough from the original that was copied. Lhb1239 (talk) 20:31, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
Good Grief
[edit]As a Veteran Editor, I am VERY familiar with copyright issues. Been there done that. Sorry, a relative had a heart attack and I had to grab the grands and run, which should have been obvious that I was interrupted. And yeah it should have been put in sandbox, I had NO time. — DocOfSoc • Talk • 03:14, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
Horse Death
[edit]Hi wikipedians, a section on 2018-2019 season horse deaths was added. These horse were injured during training. I don't understand why they have to be put to death? Isn't there a horse hospital for injury surgery and healing? IMHO, is there a hidden agenda to close the tracks so developers could build at this large property? Suggestion: Add film & TV references
[edit]Santa Anita Racetrack is mentioned in many films and TV series. I think it would be a relevant addition as it is engrained in popular culture in dozens of Hollywood productions.
Example are the movie ‘Seabiscuit’ and in the HBOMax show ‘Close Enough’ season 2, episode 8. AnonymousHummingbird (talk) 17:59, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
Major changes to parking lot; retail stores
[edit]Some years ago (>30?), almost three dozen of acres of the original parking lot were converted over to a large shopping mall. The fact is completely missing from the article; it seems like the fact is significant enough to be added to the information. I don't have enough detailed knowledge myself to do a good job on the task. 2600:1700:BF10:69D0:ADA1:B794:59A9:453F (talk) 14:40, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
