Fair use rationale for Image:Scarface Soundtrack.jpg
[edit]Image:Scarface Soundtrack.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 21:51, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Scarface (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) → Scarface (soundtrack) – Or Scarface: Music from the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. It should use either of them but not the current disambiguator because it is too precise Tbhotch.™ Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 05:39, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
- Support, WP:CONCISE, since there is only one soundtrack named "Scarface." - WPGA2345 - ☛ 18:41, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
Procedural closure - If you don't mind, this album is not independently notable. Per WP:NCM, the page must be merged. In other words, I'll be bold soon. --George Ho (talk) 05:14, 19 October 2013 (UTC)
- It was nominated to the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score. The page doesn't say so, but it is a start. I get 1M hits in Google and 2,000 hits in Gbooks, so, it seems to be independent. © Tbhotch™ (en-2.5). 06:21, 19 October 2013 (UTC)
Per WP:Merging, if an article is too small, and the topic is indistinct to the film, then merging must be considered. --George Ho (talk) 15:39, 19 October 2013 (UTC)
- Per WP:Merging: "Merging should be avoided if: the topics are discrete subjects warranting their own articles, even though they might be short". Anyway, this is RM not an AFD or Merge discussion. © Tbhotch™ (en-2.5). 19:34, 19 October 2013 (UTC)
How is the soundtrack album exactly discrete from the film?As for the alternative natural but longer title, that is too precise. You can just close this RM and then boldlyRename the title to "Scarface (soundtrack)".Since there is no stand-alone film score album, why waiting for more votes?--George Ho (talk) 19:48, 19 October 2013 (UTC)

- It seems like the article has been expanded enough since this discussion began to definitely merit a separate page. - WPGA2345 - ☛ 04:29, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
- Support "Scarface (soundtrack)" per nom and usual Wikipedia practice. Oppose "Scarface: Music from the Original Motion blah blah blah...". — AjaxSmack 02:59, 21 October 2013 (UTC)
