Merger proposal
[edit]I propose that Seabrook Farms, New Jersey be merged into Seabrook, New Jersey. They are both referring to the same town, which is called Seabrook, not Seabrook Farms. static shakedown ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ 14:15, 7 October 2014 (UTC)
- Let me check the sources I have been gathering. If the industrial farm operation is indeed exactly co-extensive with the municipal division, this could be a way to keep the article(s) more organized. On the other hand, I think some of the sources distinguish the history of the farming operation from the history of the political unit. Thanks for bringing up the suggestion. -- WeijiBaikeBianji (talk, how I edit) 14:27, 7 October 2014 (UTC)
- Reverse Merge Seabrook to Seabrook Farms Neither is a town or any other kind of municipal division; the question is the name of the unincorporated community, either Seabrook or Seabrook Farms. Per "New Jersey: 2010 Population and Housing Unit Counts", the name for the Census-designated place established by the United States Census Bureau in conjunction with Upper Deerfield Township is Seabrook Farms (not Seabrook). The two articles do appear to cover the same area and there should only be one, but the correct merge target here would be from Seabrook to Seabrook Farms. Alansohn (talk) 16:16, 7 October 2014 (UTC)
- Agree with reverse merge They are definitely the same place. Famartin (talk) 05:43, 25 January 2015 (UTC)
