Magoon is an Irish Surname

According to this it is Scottish, but in any case, I don't think his nationality/ethnicity can be determined by surname alone. Therefore, I am removing references to nationality/ethnicity pending the availability of a more suitable source.--GregRM (talk) 01:43, 5 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

FYI, I've added more sources to the article, based on various historical records found on Ancestry.com and elsewhere, that show that indeed Blue Jaw Magoon was Jewish, with roots in Lithuania, despite having an Irish-sounding surname. Asparagirl (talk) 06:33, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
