I have assessed this article as start class for WP:AUS. Until the article gets some section headings. Once that is done im sure the article would meet B-class standard. If you have any problems with this rating, please contact me via my talk page. Thanks TwentyYears12:36, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well its now a featured article candidate. Unfortunately i dont think it will pass. Here are some of my suggestions for improving the article to get it to FA:
Picture of the person
Break into sections - which will then need expanding.
Fix the references, reference marks next to eachother looks ugly IMO and in other FA's (eg. Hamersley, Western Australia) they have combined the refs to make only one tag, but still have the same refs (quite good)
Hope this helps a bit. I have decided to keep the rating as Start-class. If someone else (without a COI) wants to assess it, theyre more than welcome to. To be fair, its a border-line case - but i am not willing to let my reputation slip because i am going to bend the WP standards. Good luck. If you have any questions regarding my proposed improvements for the article - feel free to leave a message on my talk page. thanks. TwentyYears13:06, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
