Post President of Princeton[edit]

As of August 15, 2015 this bio was not updated for the fact that Shirley Tilghman had left the Presidency of Princeton. Some updates have been made. As part of this, reference in the Bio Box to the Website of the President of Princeton is no longer appropriate and so it is removed. If anyone can find her personal webpage we could add that in. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.167.72.56 (talk) 18:52, 30 August 2015 (UTC)

Nationality[edit]

Info needed on American nationality if any. The tradition in the USA per the Constitution is that citizens of the USA go not accept honorary titles or knightships or the same from foreign princes and powers. See for example Rudy Giulani declining a british knighthood and the laws that were passed at the end of WWII to permit Eisenhower, Bradley and other US generals to accept such awards. Also there is info becoming involved as a donor in american politics. Would need to document American citizenship as well as rule that only USA citizens can legally make federal election campaign donations — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.167.72.56 (talk) 02:32, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
