Middle name

[edit]

his middle name really isn't "arthur." mets fans remember that dave kingman was always introduced as "david arthur kingman," so sid uses that as a nickname for people. he once called ty wiggington "tyus arthur wiggington," which isn't his real name. Riphamilton 13:44, 17 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted it back to "Ferris," which he said was his real middle name during an interview with Joe Benigno in January. --Zimbabweed (talk) 01:19, 14 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm no fan of Rosenberg (even if he is better than his competition), but if you're going to vandalize his page, at least do so with proper spelling and grammar.

Why I put in Racism

[edit]

Given the vile words he has said about many people due to race, he belongs in the category of racism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.105.53.39 (talk) 08:25, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think that's the purpose of the category. Enigmaman (talk) 08:40, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted Opinion

[edit]

I deleted the following: "Even with some of the controversies and personal issues Rosenberg was still well liked by WFAN management, co workers and the New York listening audience." (emphasis added), for lacking citation;

as well as ""But unfortunately ..." for being nothing mroe than an expression of opinion. JTGILLICK (talk) 20:47, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Reaction to Sid's inflammatory statements

[edit]

Hi all, I don't understand why there isn't anything in this article which outlines the reaction to Sid's inflammatory on-air remarks. Given that a number of high profile personalities (e.g. Spike Lee, Barak Obama etc etc) made public statements in response to his inflammatory on-air remarks and that he was dismissed/ suspended several times from his role by his employer; I feel that there needs some recognition of the public reaction (and resulting professional consequences) to his statements. What do others think about adding a section to this article which outlines the responses to his remarks? (To conform to wiki policy, the section would need to be written from a neutral POV and contain only referenced facts about the controversy surrounding Sid's remarks.)Jihadcola (talk) 12:11, 4 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
