why does "Wei-tuo" redirect to this page? Please clarify in the article. Wei-tuo is on the hot list of mythology topics. Goldenrowley 03:36, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see what the Kung Fu page has to do with anything - surely it should be on its own page —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.232.141.119 (talk) 20:18, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I believe this "figure" has another name, called "Idaten"? I'm not sure what the exact reference is though. --UltimateKuriboh (talk) 20:17, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Why does this article call him Skanda?

[edit]

This entire article is about the Chinese figure Wei-Tuo, but it refers to him as “Skanda”. What evidence is there that Wei-Tuo was ever known as “Skanda”, or is derived from the Hindu Skanda? “Wei-Tuo” is a Chinese transliteration of the Sanskrit word “Veda”, which has no obvious connection to “Skanda”. The very title of this article needs a “citation needed” tag. 100.8.88.228 (talk) 04:56, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
