I don't think this game is actually published by Hezbollah, news reports notwithstanding. W3dtek is the developer and probably the publisher as well. As far as I know it is an independent company. I'm going to leave the entry as it is because it is an unimportant detail, the majority of people wouldn't appreciate the difference anyway and in any case I'm not 100% sure about the company. 68.73.194.130 02:48, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Engine: CRYTEK?! Looks like more like a modification of Battlefield 2. 84.202.139.201 16:31, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Guys, listen, Special Force 2 is not the same as W3dtek! This two Games are not equal! Their are two different Games ! Special Force 2 is a modified FAR CRY ! W3dtek uses the cry engine but is not Far Cry! Bigmz 19:18, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bigmz, are you sure? Please find a reliable source stating this. First of all w3dtek is not a game, it's a software company. I'm pretty sure the comapny 'W3dtek' developed special force 2 and that they aren't part of Hezbollah. This screenshot [1] on the homepage is clearly from special force 2. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Andurz (talkcontribs) 20:30, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am pretty sure because first the programmer of W3dtek is a friend of my friend ;) and secondly i have Special Force 2 and the Screenshots are not the same ! Even the gameplay is an other like i saw in a video on w3dtek.com ! Bigmz 18:32, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe so, but we need a source we can all see. If you find one we can make the changes to the page, but 'til then i'm gonna revert it. Andurz 02:21, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm a bit confused since if these are 2 separate games, they were released at the same time? And are both about Hezbollah?Andurz 03:03, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bigmz, I've heard rumors in Beirut that the game was to be released in a PlayStation2 version as well. Anybody has info on that? I don't want to add it to the article based only on hear-say. I'm also confused about the names: "Al-Wa3ed Al-Sadek" precisely means "the Truthful Pledge". So, are there two different games, or not? This is not a trivial issue, in encyclopedic criteriae. Let's settle this

[edit]

Instead of talking on an external forum, let's talk here about who the developer is and such details. Everything I see points to it being W3dtek. If it's not please point out specifically and with a source what's going on here. Andurz 04:37, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Special Force 2 was released in Lebanon On August 16, 2007. So Al-Wa3ed Al-Sadek can you PRE-ORDER since August 30. PRE-Order means they are not finished, yet. And like i said above this are two different Games. Check youtube for videos of Special Force 2 and Al-Wa3ed Al-Sadek so you will see differents. And i can also make some screenshots of both games. Bigmz 15:38, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I agree with you. I was quite confused. now we just need a page for Al-wa3ed al-sadek. =) Andurz 06:25, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have made an interview with the GM of W3dtek. i get very nice informations about Al-wa3ed al-sadek i will make a page. Bigmz 20:42, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Very good! thanks for all the help. Andurz 05:25, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Assassination of PM

[edit]

The game which contains the level of assassinating the prime minister is not in Special Force 2. This game was created by Opposition supporters, who do not have an affiliation to Hezbollah... Special Force 2 levels are clearly outlined on their web site... and your links to the PM assassinating game is not named... please review this and change the necessary information Ahmad Husseini 15:33, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Quote from your source "YaLibnan": [the game] was designed in France by a Lebanese citizen who was identified by the code name of "Ziad al-Hajj". Ahmad Husseini 15:37, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Language of Game

[edit]

Hi,

I have deleted the text that English, France and Persian language is in game available. Thats not correct since I have the original Game here.

Futhermore I added the text that an unofficial patch adds english language. Bigmz (talk) 22:39, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Uses CryENGINE 1 (Far Cry hack)

[edit]

If you look through this game's files, it's fairly obvious this is just Far Cry with new (very badly made) maps and such. It's essentially a poor mod hacked into a standalone version. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.203.113.26 (talk) 00:51, 28 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
