Trivia Section or Cultural Referance[edit]

i would like to request a trivia section. although i do not now much triavia about this topic, i would like it so others, as well as I can learn more about this topic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.248.207.154 (talk) 01:13, 18 July 2007

PLEASE, NO TRIVIA SECTION, EDITOR-WHOM-I-DO-NOT-KNOW-THE-IDENTITY-OF-'CAUSE-YOU-DID-NOT-SIGN-YOUR-POST!--69.248.1.200 (talk) 12:16, 18 September 2011 (UTC)

Batman teams up with Spider-Ham[edit]

I remember reading a Spider-Ham adventure that followed the end of an issue of Spider-Man, where Spider-Ham teams up with a Batman anthropomorophic character and they both fight the Joker. Anyone else read this? It was in the early '90s. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.227.68.36 (talk) 06:53, 28 August 2006

Creators[edit]

Why are Armstrong and Defalco credited as creating this character?--Chris Griswold () 11:36, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

Zombie-Ham[edit]

Can we get a pic in when he crosses over with Marvel Zombies and gets turned into a zombie? That'd be sweet. Tyciol 19:55, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

Too much room for hoaxes[edit]

The characters listed need citations for their first appearances. Without citations, there's too much room for people to make names up and add them just for the mischief of it. Doczilla 10:00, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

I agree wholeheartedly. --Chris Griswold () 16:42, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
Whew, done. Massive thanks to the Great Comic Book Database and Samruby.com! Daibhid C 21:14, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

Pics[edit]

There needs to be more pictures of some of the other characters in Marvel Tails, like Iron Mouse and Pork Rind.David the Phantom 23:13, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

Generation X reference[edit]

{{spoiler}} Spider-Ham (the character) isn't in Generation X; there's someone who's dressed up as Spider-Ham. {{endspoiler}} Would this justify a removal from the article? Fitfatfighter 09:41, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

{{spoiler}}Yes.--Chris Griswold () 10:40, 31 January 2007 (UTC){{endspoiler}}

"The Simpsons Movie" Reference?[edit]

Is this perhaps the inspiration/reference for the "Spider-Pig" character of Homer's pet pig in The Simpsons Movie?

He also creates a "Harry Porker" character from the pig as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.153.29.23 (talk) 10:31, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:WhatTh26.jpg[edit]

Nuvola apps important.svg

Image:WhatTh26.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Seperate Continuities[edit]

Although the graph of appearances is quite helpful, the introductory line incorrectly places all the appearances within the Earth-8311 continuity. Many of the later appearances, as indicated by the main article, differ from the original continuity. --66.110.6.119 (talk) 17:55, 12 July 2011 (UTC)

File:Spiderham12.PNG Nominated for speedy Deletion[edit]

Image-x-generic.svg

An image used in this article, File:Spiderham12.PNG, has been nominated for speedy deletion for the following reason: Wikipedia files with no non-free use rationale as of 25 May 2012

What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please review deletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to provide a fair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Deletion Review

To take part in any discussion, or to review a more detailed deletion rationale please visit the relevant image page (File:Spiderham12.PNG)

Marvel Tails merge proposal[edit]

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
The result of this discussion was to merge. NukeofEarl (talk) 17:20, 5 November 2014 (UTC)

I proposed the Marvel Tails article be merged into this article because the Marvel Tails article is a stub and is mostly notable because it has the first appearance of Spider-Ham. It would have its own section within this article, but I think it would fit into this article just fine. Spidey104 13:51, 26 September 2014 (UTC)

  • Support per nomination. Fortdj33 (talk) 18:17, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
  • Merge - Marvel Tails doesn't have much notability independent of Spider-Ham, so having it covered under the same article will help keep relevant information from being dispersed across multiple articles, as well as avoid inconsistencies from cropping up.--NukeofEarl (talk) 19:20, 5 October 2014 (UTC)
  • Merge - Yeah, these two belong together. Argento Surfer (talk) 12:31, 6 October 2014 (UTC)

Cerebus[edit]

Would it be worth noting that Spider-Ham is not based on Cerebus at least according to Tom DeFalco? http://goodcomics.comicbookresources.com/2012/02/03/comic-book-legends-revealed-352/ 217.233.213.33 (talk) 15:54, 4 January 2016 (UTC)
