Guideline[edit]

"Cornwall, England, UK" is a form used in the guidelines of the Cornwall Wikiproject as a compromise between editors who prefer to leave "England" out of articles about Cornwall and other editors who are not convinced England is a country.--Felix Folio Secundus (talk) 18:39, 3 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

But does that compromise include any linking (especially in the first para)? Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:26, 3 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The relevant guideline is here: though it does not state "Cornwall, England, United Kingdom / UK" should be used that is the form used by editors who accept it. Whether either England or UK should be linked is a separate issue: they certainly were in the past so will be in many articles but the current practice should be guided by Overlinking and underlinking.--Felix Folio Secundus (talk) 10:52, 10 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Many thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 11:16, 10 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
